How to Get a State of the Art Computer Without the State of the Art Price Tag

These days, computers are really expensive.

A lot of people save up for years to get their own computer and sometimes they are paying a lot of money for the specifications within the computer that they are getting. If these people then go and buy branded computers, like Apple Macs, then they will have to pay premium prices to get the computer that they want.
Yes, Macs are a lot safer than regular computers because they don't get many viruses, but they are a lot of money. If you are reading this and you are thinking that you want a state of the art machine, but you just can't afford it, then you should read ahead.
The aim of this article is to tell you just how you can get your hands on the computer of your dreams without having to spend all of your money. Apple Mac If you have your heart set on a Mac, but it would take you years to save up for one then you do have options for getting on a little cheaper.

Your first option would be to buy the basic model and then to get it upgraded by another company.

Most Macs have space within their chassis for more hard drives and memory cards.
You could even upgrade the cooling system if you want. You can get the computer upgraded at the Apple Store, but again, you will be paying premium prices.

The good thing about having the computer upgraded elsewhere is that you will have money left over to use for other things. This way, you have the computer that you have always wanted, but you haven't paid Apple prices for a premium machine. You could also wait until the computers go on sale on the Apple website.
They have reconditioned machines available on a Wednesday morning.

These machines are as good as new, but they are basically second hand.

Apple has just made sure that the machine works like it was brand new.

Windows PC The other option you have is to buy a Windows PC.
Some of these machines have better specifications than Apple computers and they are a lot cheaper.
Sometimes, you could buy 2 computers for half the price that you would buy one from the Apple Store. Just make sure that you have good security systems on your computer because Windows PCs are vulnerable to viruses.

eBay If you know about computers, then you could buy a really cheap one on eBay.

It doesn't really matter what the specs are of the machine, you just want it for the chassis, or the screen, if it is a laptop.

Once you have the machine, you will be taking the back off and building the computer yourself.

You could go down this route even if you don't know about computers because you could hire someone to build it for you.
You would give them the money for working on the machine and they might give you a list of all the components that you need to buy.
You should look online for computer components because cooling items, like 12mm fan guards are a lot cheaper online when compared to high street stores. Once all the components have arrived, you hand the computer over to the technician and you will have your state of the art computer within a few weeks, and for more than half the price of buying a new one.
